MPC Rancho Cielo Drive, Car Display & Lunch

Please join us on a rewarding drive to Rancho Cielo, a youth campus where lives are changed and careers are born. Our Thursday weekday schedule will allow the Rancho Cielo students in their diverse training programs to enjoy our car show display on their lawn when we arrive, and offer opportunities to chat with them about their classes.

Our three course lunch will allow the culinary students to prepare and serve us their specialties:

FIRST COURSE 

- Roasted Mushroom Strudel / Frisée, Pumpkin Seeds, Pomegranate, Crème Fraîche, Cider Dijon Vinaigrette 

CHOICE OF SECOND COURSE

- Classic Cheeseburger - Cheddar Cheese, Brioche Bun, French Fries 

- Free Range Chicken Caesar Salad - Croutons, Garlic Dressing, Parmesan 

- BLT Wrap - Baker’s Bacon, Vine Ripe Tomato, Avocado Mayonnaise, French Fries 

- Impossible Bolognese / Vegan/Vegetarian option - Orecchiette Pasta, Leadership Garden, Tomato Ragu, Wilted Spinach, Parmesan Cheese

DESSERT

- Pumpkin Crème Brûlée & Ginger Snap Cookies

The Rancho Cielo Drummond Culinary Academy is dedicated to providing underserved youth with an opportunity to gain classroom training, work experience, and transferrable skills that help them become employable in the culinary and hospitality industry.

The Rancho Cielo Drummond Culinary Academy is one of several programs at Rancho Cielo tailored to help transform the lives of our youth through learning new skills, on-the-job training, and professional mentorship. Their goal is to train at-risk and underserved youth, aged 16-24, in the Salinas and Monterey County area in a work environment that is conducive to learning, where they feel challenged, respected, and accountable.

Proceeds benefit the Rancho Cielo Drummond Culinary Academy, dedicated to providing underserved youth with an opportunity to gain classroom training, work experience, and transferrable skills that help them become employable in the culinary and hospitality industry.
