FOC Hearst Castle Tour - November 2-3, Sat-Sun, 2024 - Wait List

Our drive starts in the San Juan Batista area, taking scenic and exilerating backroads to Eberle Winery in Paso Robles for lunch with tasting of five wines.

We'll then visit the historic Hearst Castle in San Simeon, designed by architect Julia Morgan, the first licensed female architect in California. While she designed over 700 buildings in her lifetime, the crown jewel of her career is La Cuesta Encantada (The Enchanted Hill), better known as Hearst Castle.

Our 3 pm Grand Rooms Tour provides an overview of the history of the house, with viewing of the Assembly Room, Refectory, Morning Room, Billiard Room and Theater. After the tour, our admission allows us full access to the exterior property around the castle including the magestic Neptune Pool.

ITINERARY

Saturday, November 2nd, 2024

- Depart San Juan Batista area 9 am

- Pit stop in King City at Chevron

- Arrive Eberle Winery in Paso Robles for lunch with tasting of five wines

- Hearst Castle Tour 3 pm

- Lodging at Fog Catcher Inn, Cambria (Book your own room with link provided in registration confirmation)

- Dinner at nearby Cambria Pines Lodge in Cambria with fellow Ferrari members from the Southwest Region

Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 

- Hotel check out

- Optional wine tasting and lunch. For those not heading home early on Sunday, we're arranging an optional wine tasting with lunch in the Paso Robles area that will make for a glorious weekend on California's Central Coast. Please select in registration if you'd be interested in a Sunday lunch & tasting.

Price of $195 per person includes:

- Eberle Winery Lunch w/tasting, gratuity/tax

- Hearst Castle Tour 

- Dinner at the Cambria Pines Lodge - your choice of entrees: Santa Maria style BBQ Tri-Tip, Grilled Chicken, or Vegetarian 

- Drive coordination and insurance
