FOC Ferndale Adventure

Inaugural Ferndale Adventure Itinarary

This is our club's first long adventure and we want to start out with a small gathering of fun people to enjoy a multi-day drive in California's undisturbed Northern enviroment. Most of the details are defined with some options along the way. Thanks to Bryan Saba for coordinating this getaway. We know if will be a memorable event for the fortunate few who will be able to attend.

Thursday, September 12th: 

 - Pre-party for the first 5 couples at Giaco Bed & Breakfast in San Geronimo, CA.

 - Dinner and drive discussion.

 

Friday, September 13th: 

Begins in San Geronimo in the morning via Highway 1

 - Stop in Bodega Bay

 - Stop in Mendocino for Lunch

Ending in Ferndale  with a 10 min drive to Bear River Casino in Loleta.

TBD Dinner can be in Ferndale or the Rivers Edge Grill & Bar at the Casino.

Saturday, September 14th:

Drive with cars on the Ferndale Firemen’s Park drive, taking (as much as possible) back-country roads to Eureka’s Sequoia Park Zoo for a guided tour of this five-acre zoological garden, located in a 60-acre redwood forest and boasting a biosphere walk through the giants. Lunch follows at Eureka’s waterfront. After lunch, we’ll board the M.V. Madaket for a one-hour, narrated cruise of Humboldt Bay. Next, we’ll spend time in Old Town, including a stop at Carl’s Car World, a boutique gallery of everything automotive. Leaving Eureka, we’ll explore the rural roads of Loleta, culminating at North Coast Hitching Post, where we’ll enjoy a wine/beer & hors d’oeuvre reception while overlooking breakers of the Pacific! Returning to Ferndale. Ending the evening at Bear River

 

Sunday, September 15th:

Concours Day!  Our Ferraris will be entered in the Ferndale Concours, placed so that we can depart early for our drive to Calistoga 

 - A stop or two along the way, ending in Calistoga at The Golden Haven Spa.

Monday, September 16th:

“Hate to see you go”.

Price per Couple - $2,500 inclusive of All Accommodations, Dinners in Ferndale and Concours entry. 

Ferrari preferred for the best experience and entry to the Ferndale Concours.
